Residents run for cover as mother is gunned down outside church
Dramatic CCTV footage played in court record the moment an innocent mother-of-two was gunned down in a drive-by shooting outside a church.
Michelle Sadio, 44, was shot dead outside the River of Life Church on Gifford Road, Harlesden, northwest London on 14 December 2024.
Several shots were fired into a crowd from the window of a stolen black Kia window before it sped off.
The intended target may have been Willesden rapper Trapstar Toxic who was stood in a crowd outside the memorial service being held for an 80-year-old woman, the Old Bailey heard.
Jurors were shown CCTV footage taken from the other side of the street.
The footage shows a crowd gathered outside the church on Gifford Road before the stolen Kia travels slowly down the street stopping next to the crowd.
Seven loud bangs are then immediately heard as members of the crowd run off in different directions.
The car then immediately drove off.
Tahjin Sommersal, 19, Perry Allen-Thomas, 27, Shaquille Sutherland, 26, and Amir Salem, 19, deny murdering Ms Sadio and the attempted murders of Kenneth Amoah, 39, and Kadeem Francis, 30.
Mr Amoah was shot in the foot while Mr Francis was shot in the back leaving him wheelchair bound.
Mrs Sadio was married with two children, now aged 10 and 8, and worked as a legal administrator.
