‘I was only telling the kids I love them’

A decorator jailed for removing his tag while on bail so he could hold his dying gran told a court today he broke another order trying to tell his children he loved them. Mario Spanias, 33, said he ‘served a month for crossing the road, basically’ after he ran into his children ‘by chance’ at Bentworth Road, Shepherds Bush on May 21. Spanias is allowed to see his children but cannot go to the the road where their mother lives….
