Inmate accused of trying to kill non Muslims says he was instructed by voices in his head

A prison inmate accused of trying to kill five prison officers because were not Muslims told a jury he was ordered to carry out the attacks by the voices in his head. Aklakur Rahman, 38, allegedly assaulted or tried to assault 11 prison officers at maximum security HMP Belmarsh and HMP Swaleside between September 2022 and October 2022.
