Investigators seize diamond encrusted Rolex from cocaine cartel

Investigators from the National Crime Agency – dubbed Britain’s FBI – have seized £1.5m in assets, including a £200,000 diamond encrusted Rolex Daytona watch from drug dealers. Ringleader Neelen Balarajah, 34, was caught taking a ‘Gucci’ embossed box containing £20,000 cash from mule Hitesh Vadolia in January 2022. When challenged, Balarajah tried to escape and drove his car at arresting officers who used their unmarked vehicle to block him.
