IPCC procurement manager accused of £26,000 scam

A procurement manager accused of stealing £26,000 from the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) appeared in court today (tues). Ian Every, 50, allegedly carried out the seven-year scam while based at the IPCC headquarters on High Holborn, in Holborn, central London. According to charges Every ‘dishonestly abused that position’ to steal ‘in excess of £26,000′ between 1 March 2009 and 12 January this year.
