Jail for confidence tricksters who swindled pensioners out of their life savings
Two cruel confidence trickster who stole £186,000 in life savings from vulnerable and disabled pensioners have been jailed. Lydia Cunningham, 28, and Youssef Hassan, 20, were part of a gang that targeted 26 vulnerable victims. Cunningham kept some of the pensioners on the phone for hours while her ‘couriers’ including and John Burgess, 27, turned up to collect their bank cards.
