Jail for the underworld armourers

Two underworld armourers who turned blank firing pistols into deadly weapons at a gun factory have been jailed for a total of 18 years. Steve Jones, 46, and Perry Binns, 37, were snared after detectives raided a unit at the Mays Yard industrial estate in Horndean, Hants on 22 February this year. Officers from the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) then found 70 guns and over 600 rounds of ammunition hidden in suitcases at Binns’ home near Portsmouth….
