Jury retire to decide whether having autism is a defence for murder

The jury trying the teenager who stabbed public schoolgirl Elianne Andam to death in a row over a teddy bear retired to consider its verdicts today (tues). Elianne, 15, was knifed to death when she showed ‘solidarity’ to her friend who had turned up to collect a cuddly toy from her ex-boyfriend 18-year-old Hassan Sentamu.
