‘Knifed to death outside Islamic centre’

A restaurant worker was stabbed to death when he tried to intervene in a fight outside an Islamic centre, a court heard. Dara Omar, 22, was knifed outside the Hounslow Muslim Centre in Hanworth Road, west London, on 22 June. Emergency services were called to the scene at 2.21pm and Mr Omar, from Brentford, was taken to hospital where he later died.
