Knifeman murdered this mother-of-two

A knifeman murdered a mother-of-two and tried to kill a second woman with a machete a day later, a court heard. James Sinclair, 31, allegedly stabbed 40-year-old Shadika Patel to death in East Ham, east London, on 19 March 2020 – just four days before the first national lockdown began. Sinclair tried to murder Beverley Barzey in Islington, north London, after he chanced upon her in the street the following night, it was said. Fortunately Ms Barzey survived her injuries….
