Knightsbridge Jeweller ‘tried to sell on stolen designer earrings’

  A Knightsbridge jeweller appeared in court today charged with handling stolen designer earrings after a £100,000 raid. Dutchman Amer Alkhatar, 25, is a director at Darfash Diamond Jewellers, selling and buying watches, diamonds, gold and designer handbags. Alkhatar is accused of handling a pair of Boodles earrings at Watches and Jewellery of Bond Street on March 23 this year. He denied the charge when he appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
