Latvian killer who fled on bike faces jail

A Latvian killer who sparked a police manhunt when he knifed a man to death in the street on Boxing Day is facing years in jail. Jurejs Vankovs, 38, stabbed Michael Murphy, 49, after fighting broke out in Cranwood Street, Hackney, during the early hours of 26 December 2023.
