Let-off for Lithuanian who crushed driver

A Lithuanian haulier who slammed into the back of a car leaving the driver with multiple fractures has been jailed for just 12 months. Vygantas Stanulis, 56, hit Brett Hill’s Ford Fiesta at 50mph on the Canterbury stretch of the A2 in Kent, sandwiching him between his Mercedes Actros and a vehicle carrying pallets.
