Libor rigger blames Barclays bosses
A Barclays trader accused of rigging Libor rates as he handled billions of pounds worth of deals claims he was following instructions from corrupt managers at the banking giant. Stylianos Contogoulas, 45, and New York-based trader Ryan Reich, 35, allegedly plotted to tweak the complex interest rate to give them an edge in massive deals between 1st June 2005 and 1st September 2007.
