Lodger ‘killed landlady in frenzied knife attack’

A lodger accused of murdering his landlady in a frenzied knife attack was remanded in custody today (weds). Mohsen Saadi, 56, allegedly attacked 42-year-old Peninah Kabeba at the address they shared in Park Road, Cheam, Surrey, on May 27. A neighbour, alerted by screaming, called police who arrested Algerian Saadi, the Old Bailey heard.
