Luxury property firm fined £600,000 after carpenter plunged to death

  A luxury property company was fined £600,000 today (weds) after a carpenter plunged to his death when a temporary platform collapsed during a £25m building project. Lithuanian dad of three Justinas Kopickas, 42, crashed 52 feet down a stairwell and died when a stand gave way during construction work at Langham Square in Putney, southwest London.
