Man denies girlfriend attack

An estranged lover has denied assaulting his ex-girlfriend and smashing her iPhone before stealing her keys. Joshua Bradley, 26, allegedly subjected Rebecca Simpson-Hassell to a horrendous ordeal before swiping her belongings at her home in Randolph Avenue, Maida Vale, west London, on 3 July. He appeared in the dock at Southwark Crown Court wearing a grey prison tracksuit and denied charges of theft of a bank card and a key, common assault and damaging property.
