Man denies murder his former partner’s dad

An alleged killer has denied murdering his ex-girlfriend’s father. Daniel Benitez, 32, inflicted serious head and stab wounds to John Davies in Claremont Close, Streatham, southwest London, on 13 May 2016. Mr Davies, then 53, was taken to a south London hospital and placed into an induced coma. He died from his injuries aged 56 on 1 April 2019.
