Massive fine for Volvo after ladder fall

  Car giant Volvo have been hit with a £900,000 fine after a repair technician suffered ‘life-changing injuries’ when he fell from a broken ladder at one of their depots. Terry Bruce, 59, had to be placed into a medically-induced coma for two weeks after tumbling from the back of a truck during a routine check at the company’s depot in Enfield.
