Mercedes driver faces jail for killing psychologist

A Mercedes driver who killed the daughter of an Ecuadorian politician when he was doing twice the speed limit is facing jail. Octavian Cadar, 39, collided with 27-year-old Vanessa Charlotte Sagnay de la Bastida near Wandsworth Bridge causing her to ‘somersault’ over a railing on 16 March 2022.
