Nigerian fraudsters posed as MPs to nick £10m

The identities of MPs, judges and police officers were used by a gang of fraudsters to con the taxpayer out of more than £10m, a court heard. Their personal details were ‘stolen to order’ from the Civil Service Sports Council, which provides sport and fitness facilities, events and leisure activities to more than 120,000 public sector employees and pensioners.
