Nurse at Cirencester hospital slept on the job

A nurse who was photographed sleeping on the job by a colleague has been struck off. Martha Elsie was spotted dozing at the nurse’s station by a doctor at Cirencester Hospital in Gloucestershire. The medic took a photo of Elsie and reported her, the Nursing and Midwifery Council heard. She was previously suspended for her actions, but has now been thrown out of the profession.
