An NHS boss who failed to remove bin bags from a hospital toilet where a suicidal woman killed herself was cleared of manslaughter after a trial which cost the taxpayer up to £6m. Benjamin Aninakwa, 53, was manager of an acute psychiatric ward at Goodmayes Hospital, where Alice Figueiredo, 22, was found dead on 7 July 2015.
