Nurse pinched £24,000 from church

A nurse who fleeced a church out of almost £24,000 has been suspended for a year. Lesley White pocketed £23,908.94 from Silverdale Methodist Church between 2017 and 2018 after being voted into the role of treasurer by its members, a tribunal heard.
