Nurse who nicked morphine is back in the job

A nurse who faked morphine prescriptions to a dead woman so he could use the drugs himself has been allowed to resume his career. Matthew Waller, 41, stole 80 vials from Kent and Canterbury Hospital and claimed he was depressed after his girlfriend dumped him. He was handed a 15-month suspended sentence in February 2013 at Canterbury Crown Court for theft, possession of class C drugs and forgery.
