Nurses failed to alert doctors to dying patient

A Russian patient who came to the UK for a routine operation died after two nurses at a private hospital failed to alert doctors to her deteriorating condition, a tribunal heard. The 65-year-old woman suffered two cardiac arrests several days after hernia surgery at Spire Alexandra Hospital, Chatham, Kent.
