Oligarch’s private prosecution fails

A billionaire ally of Vladimir Putin has failed in his bid to prosecute an oligarch rival for perverting the course of justice. Oleg Deripaska, 52, and Vladimir Chernukhin, 51, were involved in a month-long high stakes battle over a 72-acre industrial textile factory in Moscow at the High Court in 2019.
