Owner of dangerous rifle range exploits Boer War loophole to walk free

A gun enthusiast who ran a ‘shambolic and dangerous’ shooting range has walked free after he exploited legal loophole dating back to the Boer War. Daniel Hammond, 36, ran an unsupervised rifle range called ‘Full Metal Jacket’ just 210m from the M25 in Waltham Abbey, Essex.
