Paint stripper gassed by lethal fumes
A paint stripper died after he inhaled toxic fumes while removing emulsion from bricks in the basement of a £5m mansion, a court heard. Alexandru Dorin, 27, was working with a solvent called dichloromethane (DCM) on brickwork during refurbishment work at the property in Berkeley Gardens, Notting Hill, in July 2017.
