Park sex attacker jailed for 15 years

A sex attacker who tried to rape an elderly woman at knifepoint as she walked through a park has been jailed for 15 years. James Nicolaou, 29, lurked in the bushes before attacking the pensioner in the Neasden Recreation Ground in northwest London on 2 August 2021. Nicolaou grabbed the woman, threatened her with a knife and exposed himself before trying to rape her. The victim, in her late 60s, fell and lost consciousness. She later awoke covered in bruises…
