A 16-year-old girl accused of murdering a 49-year-old man on the seafront after exposing him as a ‘paedophile’ was only aware of the plan to ‘give him a slap’, a court heard. Electrician Alexander Cashford, 49, was ambushed by a boy and a girl, both 16, and another boy aged 15, two days after he gave the girl his phone number at an amusement arcade in Leysdown-on-Sea, Kent.
