‘Plumber abused partner for 12 years before she killed herself’

A plumber accused of abusing a former partner for 12 years before she took her own life was remanded in custody today. Police were informed of domestic abuse allegations shortly after Gillian Morand, 36, was found dead at her home in Bexley, southeast London, in March 2020.
