Polish trucker killed pensioner on crossing

An elderly woman crossing the road with a walking stick was killed by a Polish lorry driver after he blocked her view of the ‘green man’, a court heard. Marek Perkowski, 39, ran over 69-year-old Elenita Quejado on Earl’s Court Road in west London on 30 November 2021.
