Pot dealer spared jail over cannabis parcels

A pot dealer who imported 1.5kg of cannabis from the US disguised as clothes for his partner has been spared jail. Kris Curry, 36, ordered the packages which were addressed either to him or his partner at his home in Romford, Essex. Two deliveries were intercepted at Coventry Airport on 14 and 27 July last year and were found to contain plastic bags holding 530g and 1,060g of weed respectively.
