Preacher denies encouraging support for Al-Muhajiroun

Radical preacher Anjem Choudary today (mon) denied belonging to Al-Muhajiroun and addressing meetings encouraging support for the militant network. Choudary, 57, and Canadian national Khaled Hussain, 29, were arrested last July for membership of the proscribed organisation. The cleric was taken into custody during a dawn raid by Met Police counter terrorism detectives in east London, while Hussain was arrested at Heathrow Airport.
