Property developer ‘is bubbly nicker’

A property developer grabbed eight bottles of bubbly from the Fortnum & Mason restaurant with the help of a 17-year-old accomplice, a court heard. Douglas Vallender, 52, allegedly swiped champagne from the famous eatery in St James’s in London’s West End on 1 May.
