Retrial for ‘love drops’ drinker

A clubber accused of spiking his female friend’s strawberry cocktail with a ‘Spanish Goldfly’ aphrodisiac at an exclusive celebrity haunt is facing a retrial. Shervin Dorostkar, 30, slipped the concoction into the woman’s glass at the Kensington Roof Gardens, on Kensington High Street, so they could have sex, it is claimed. Prosecutor Matthew Dalton told jurors that Dorostkar slipped the aphrodisiac into the woman’s drink ‘with the intent of stupefying or overpowering her in order to engage in sexual activity’….
