Romanian flew into London for pickpocketing spree

Two Romanian thieves targeted a child during a ‘commercial pickpocketing spree’ in the West End, a court heard. Daniela Bobocel, 36, and Narghita Jandu, 40, allegedly tried to to steal a 10-year-old’s £400 iPhone at Tottenham Court Road Station on 12 July. Bobacel is also said to have targeted a pensioner by rummaging through his rucksack.
