A gang of roofers scammed elderly and vulnerable victims out of £500,000 in just six months by overcharging for unnecessary work, a court heard Patrick Cleere, 66, William Cleere, 65, and Damien Foley, 40, allegedly defrauding victims across London areas and Essex between April and September 2016.
