Sara Sharif’s injuries were as if she ‘had been kicked by a horse’

A radiologist who examined the body of murdered schoolgirl Sara Sharif told at court she had suffered at least 25 different bone fractures and had been strangled with ‘severe force.’ Professor Owen Arthurs, consultant paediatric radiologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital said the ten-year-old had suffered the injuries ‘over several weeks.’ The fractures to both scapula, or shoulder blades, had been caused by ‘blunt force trauma.’ The schoolgirl had at least 71 external injuries inflicted on her she was tortured…
