She tried to exterminate bedbugs in her flat – and gassed a girl living in the flat above

A woman killed an 11-year-old girl when she tried to kill the bedbugs infesting her home, a court heard. Jesmin Akter, 33, illegally imported aluminium phosphide and scattered it around her flat in Shadwell, east London on 26 November 2021. it is claimed.
