Slimming pill ‘killer’ off to the Supreme Court as council challenge retrial

The family of a student who died after taking lethal slimming pills are facing a Supreme Court battle after the businessman accused of selling the pills had his conviction overturned. Bernard Rebelo, 31, is currently facing a retrial after the Court of Appeal threw out his manslaughter conviction.
