Solicitor struck off over £500k loans from clients
A solicitor who took £530,000 in ‘loans’ from his clients to bankroll his cash-strapped firm has been struck off. Marcus Nickson, 63, was a partner at the now-closed KJ Commons & Co, and one of the country’s top clinical negligence lawyers. A probe by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) found a massive black hole of £537,000 in Nickson’s customer accounts.
