Speeding driver ‘killed pedestrian on Christmas Day’
A driver who ploughed into a group of people at more than 60mph killing a pedestrian on Christmas Day was remanded in custody today (mon). Anthony Gilheaney, 30, is charged with murder and three counts of attempted murder following the collision in Shaftesbury Avenue, central London, shortly after midnight on 25 December.
