A Bulgarian beautician accused of spying for Russia has told a court she thought she was working for a cancer-stricken Interpol agent. Vanya Gaberova, 30, described surveillance missions in Vienna, Valencia and Montenegro as ‘very good holidays’ spent with boyfriend Biser Dzhambazov, 43, who has since admitted conspiracy to spy.
