A farmer accused of blackmailing Tesco by spiking baby food with metal shards told the Old Bailey today (fri) how travellers put a £500,000 ransom on his family. Two mothers spotted sharp metal fragments while feeding their newborn children after Nigel Wright, 45, launched his two-year blackmail campaign in the spring of 2018, jurors heard.
