Top pianist beats ‘no practice’ ban

  One of Britain’s finest young pianists has won his battle against a local authority who tried to stop him practising in his £5 million family home. Joao Baptista, 59, went to the council with complaints about ‘deafening’ piano music that was driving him from his four-storey townhouse in Kensington to his other two properties.
