‘Trainer thieves may have coronavirus’

Two men accused of stealing £5,000 worth of trainers from JD Sports and flouting lockdown measures are now displaying Covid-19 symptoms, a court heard. Lee Tatum, 38, and Rafal Charzewksi, 27, allegedly broke into the Wood Green branch of the sportswear store and helped themselves to dozens of pairs of shoes on 2 April.
