Trial for accused knifeman

An alleged killer accused of stabbing a father-of-two to death will stand trial in August. Michael Dyra, 22, allegedly knifed Jonathan McPhillips, 28, in Islington, north London, on 25 February last year, it is alleged. Police were called to Upper Street at 00.40 and Mr McPhillips, also known as JJ, was rushed to hospital with a single stab wound to the chest.
