UBS worker denies feeding tips to trader

  An ex-UBS employee today (mon) denied giving confidential tip-offs to a stock trader today (mon). Fabiana Abdel-Malek, 34, allegedly handed Walid Choucair, 38, inside information on proposed takeovers of five different companies between 2013 and 2014. Choucair allegedly made £1.4million off the back of Abdel-Malek’s tip-offs. Both pleaded not guilty to five counts each of insider dealing at Southwark Crown Court today.
